 Placentia Minor Hockey 2016-17 Hockey is scheduled to begin October 16th, 2016. Practice times are below. SCHEDULE: Pre Novice - Sunday and Wednesday @ 5:00 Novice - Sunday and Wednesday @ 6:00 Atom - Monday and Wednesday @ 7:00 Pee Wee - Tuesday and Thursday @ 7:00 Bantam - Monday and Wednesday @ 8:00 Midget - Tuesday and Thursday @ 8:00 Registration for full season is $300.00, at least half of which is due before the first practice. There will be a member of the Executive at the arena on practice day to carry out registration. REGISTRATION COST: $300.00 per player Please ensure one parent per player has the Respect in Sport course completed prior to registration time. You can find the link below. Respect for Sport - Parents - Mandatory for at least one parent of a player to complete for the 2016-17 season!!

The Respect in Sport Parent Program is an effective and informative online training program for parents of active children. This unique certification program complements Respect in Sport for Coaches/Activity Leaders by reinforcing a parents role in a child or youth’s activities, encouraging positive sport behaviours, and providing insight into the various roles other individuals (such as coaches and officials) play. This program empowers parents to ensure the safety of their children, encourage positive and effective communication, and to enhance a child’s fun and camaraderie of the activity. The program is mandatory for parents of first year players in Hockey NL. |
